Well, in the short span of one week, yours truly tearfully left home & hearth on her birthday to begin a job several states away, spending evenings alone with spartan kitchen accommodations, only to be offered an interesting, higher paying position near to home, before week's end.
I have almost astonished myself in that, after grappling with the prospect of being separated from my children and the turmoil and minor mental anguish of compressed decision making and commitment breaking, I am feeling so comforted, so relieved, to discover the simple truth of that old adage, "There's no place like home".
